Welcome to the website of the Institute of Energy Systems at the Technische Universität München.

The Institute of Energy Systems is mainly engaged in problems concerning energy technology. Our research is divided into four areas : Power Plants, Modelling & Simulation , Measurement techniques and Renewable Energies. We are participating in several national and international research projects, in cooperation with other research institutes as well as industrial partners.

The lectures offered are also focussed on topics related to energy technology. Therefore we provide lectures, exercise courses, laboratory courses, seminars and excursions.
